I found a great website that features over 250 free e-books and they’ve just made everything tablet friendly. I tried it out on the iPad and it worked great! It is Oxford Owl by Oxford University Press. This is a UK company so you may want to point out the differences between British & American English if you are in the US. Some of the stories used mum (vs. mom). I’m really excited to introduce this site to my first graders! It would be great for Daily 5 – listen to reading.
